Meet the Instructors

Meet the instructors at Make For Joy, each bringing their diverse experience, personal styles, and high quality art education to teach both kids and adults in our programs. In addition to teaching, our instructors make and create their own artworks in their preferred media; some offer their work for sale, locally and online. We appreciate and value the enrichment that our instructors bring to the community, and we strive to support local arts!

Darya Munroe

Art Instructor

A senior at Walla Walla University working on her Bachelor of Fine Art degree, Darya has experience working in studios with elementary and high school students. Her favourite part of working with students is seeing how each individual’s character shows through their art pieces. Darya’s main passion is acrylic painting but enjoys trying out different mediums. A few other hobbies of hers would be playing sports, going to the park, and spending time with those she loves.
